70. Sandinista--

London Calling may well be the greatest Rock album made, but I think Sandinsta is when they reached their political apogee.

Consider--

First the material-- Washington Bullets (Nicaragua), Police on My Back, Someone Got Murdered, The Call-Up (concerning joining a war), etc...

Then you have the fact that they insisted that this be a three record set and it was sold at a 2 album price.

The Clash are the KINGS of political rock (we miss you Joe)
