I agree with you guys too though. Obviously they chose a blonde for their own reasons. Of course Brad's blonde too ain't he?

Personally, I think it would be way cooler if Helen had like purple hair or something. Some seriously freaked out hair color, maybe give her contact lenses to give her some inhuman, yet totally hot eye color. *growl* :P

Then I could see why people would throw their empires away in war to get here. She was supposed to be beautiful yes?

Maybe I need to re-read The Iliad and see how detailed its description of Helen is, other than "d00d shes fuckin beautiful!" (my impression of Homer as though he were alive today :P)
