owned my own business for years but economy....well you know.

now i am a webmaster at a mortgage company in charge of an Intranet, Marketing campaigns and currently 15 web sites.

anyhoo......

boss walks up at 1:00 pm this afternoon and says that he wants a contact form put up on the Intranet with questions that the reps need to ask customers who call in on the 800 number. needs to be accessed by all brokers etc...etc...

no prob.

then he says that he wants the form to get emailed to all managers AND populate a database (that is not yet created) when the broker submits it. then a built in way to run reports on the database where managers can filter the data by each broker.

ok. i am a good enough ASP programmer to handle this.

Me: "shouldn't be too difficult. do you want this to take precedent over the other projects i am currently working on?"

Him: "it shouldn't have to. you can have this up and running by the end of the day can't you?"

Me: "um......... :wtf: ? no, but i should have it done by the end of the week"

Him: "its just a simple spread sheet isn't it?"

Me: *shakes head yet again* "i'll get it up and functional asap"

My Supervisor: *ROTFPIHP WHEN THE BOSS LEFT*

:argh:
