20. Maybe some, but it doesn't sound like she's relating a real event.
Too vague on some points. If I were psycho-analyzing her (not that they let me do that), I'd say that she probably had some questions and doubts at that age, and may have even had a couple of lesbian friends who talked openly with her, but the story of this one woman who hit on her the way she described is faked, or a composite of what she's heard at her "job." The details are most absent on what this woman was like, why she was attracted to the other woman (other than that she was shy and lonely and happy to have a friend--a friend she doesn't describe in any real way).

Or I'd guess she's covering something up. Maybe she didn't walk away, and so she is ashamed (because of her mindset now) to describe the woman. Someone who describes the car a teacher drove but can't describe another pivotal person in her life beyond "she took me to a marvelous movie" just seems unconvincing. This "recruiter" sounds more like a glorified version of herself than a real person.

Or maybe she's just so self-centered she sees the whole world as an extension of herself. Would explain why she works so hard to brainwash others to her beliefs.
