59. I'm embarrassed to say I liked "Titanic" when I saw it in the theater. But now,
I can't imagine sitting through it. I thought the special effects in it were expertly done, and the whole grand production of it was impressive. The building of the ship, the costumes, the sounds, the sinking itself, all the details. I remember not liking a lot of lines in the script, like Kathy Bates sitting on a raft or something, looking at the ship about to go down and saying, "Now that's something you just don't see every day" or some inane remark. On the big screen, the specacle of it all was impressive, but on TV, where the story is more dominant, forget it. I won't sit through it again.
