20. I think that person might be me.

Recently I've gotten back in touch with two people that I knew in high school. Both of them, seperately, told me that according to the recent pictures I've sent them, I don't look like I've aged at all. I'm 33, so it's been about 15 years since high school. :-)

Now, I've gained 50 lbs since age 18, but I think there is nevertheless a measure of truth in what they said. I work as faculty on a college campus and am mistaken for an undergrad on a weekly basis. I think I just have good skin. It might also help that I've never been one for outdoor activities and I live in a very overcast area of the country, thus, no sun exposure to cause wrinkles. I also have never worn much makeup, and I've noticed that women who wear a lot of makeup often seem older than they actually are. I also have good genes except for the whole metabolism thing.

However, I don't have a picture in my house that is aging instead of me. I think I'm just lucky.

My husband is the same way - he is 37 and got carded regularly until just a year or two ago. I used to get carded for cigarettes into my late twenties, until I quit smoking.
