2. Went to a conference on bioenergy in W. Texas recently. The use of
solar was discussed but downplayed as not viable because of the large initial cost. Wind and biodiesel were the main topics. Especially since the largest windfarm in the world is now located near Sweetwater, Texas. When do you think solar will really be mainstream for homes. I saw a film from the 50's about the wonders solar would provide us all in the future but that was 50 years ago and we are still using solar in such small amounts that a story like this one makes headlines. Energy independence is the only way to provide America with a secure future. When is that going to happen?
