28. The slope keeps getting steeper too!
It seems to me that these anti-gun folks are really poor shots, they can never focus in on the 10 ring. The vast majority of gun homicides are committed by criminals mis-using a pistol. Every state has law on the books covering the illegal carrying of weapons. Why don't they push for stiffer penalties? Is that too simple? It isn't rocket science. I hear talk in the party for States rights regarding Gay marriage, why not gun laws? No, they believe that banning a whole class of firearm from everybody is better than severe punishment for the few that mis-use them.
Slippery slope? "Assault weapons" first, then "sniper rifles" then Saturday night specials" moving on to the bullet hose A.K.A. the shotguns........
Group punishment doesn't work too well on citizens, it tends to piss them off. Its just a damn shame that these leeches have decided to feed off the Democratic party in my ever so humble opinion.
