Because the Israeli likudniks (along with their religious reich pals here in the US) did EVERYTHING they could to stop the "abomination". And EVERY time the gay rights people won ANOTHER roadblock was put up. And ANOTHER....

Yes "sometimes, the greater good does take president (sic)". But that's not what happened here. The greater good would have been to STOP BOMBING PEOPLE IN THEIR HOMES and stop the hyper-religious goombahs from rioting and LET GAY PEOPLE MARCH.

But you'd rather be a tool for a government that could care less about peace or gay rights.
