and make an informed decision. I've posted in about eight forums on all manner of things, from the stupid to the supposedly sublime, and never, never, with a bit of sympathy for anything republican.
When the fuck did standing against ridiculing someone for addiction become republican? Only a fool would suggest it. And, in case you missed it the first two times around, I think Rush Limbaugh is an asshole as much as you do. But from me he gets a pass on being an addict--even though that makes him the biggest hypocrite in the history of the world. Yyou might even be right--that he doesn't deserve a pass. Sorry, but on this one particular aspect of his life, he gets one from me. Brave people demand mercy, so I'm giving it a shot.
You want to attack Rush? Well, get in line. He's a fucking idiot, an arrogant pompous tautological asshole. But why does someone's addiction matter to THIS PARTY? And why does it have to be part of the argument about L when there's so much related to actual issues to take him apart on?
As I already admitted, I've enjoyed ridiculing him for his addiction in the past--but if there was any doubt in my mind about how morally bankrupt that brand of justice is...you've settled it.
