11. KS-2: Nancy Boyda upsets Jim Ryun
Kathleen Sebelius is doing a wonderful job as governor and will sweep back into office with a Lieutenant Governor who is a former Kansas Republican chair running as a Democrat. There are also eight other former Republicans runing as Democrats for state offices. All nine of them have left their party because it's become so damned crazy--full of lunatic rapture rightist theocrats. They are sick and tire of the bullshit and there's a *huge* rift in the Republican party in Kansas.

Democrat Nancy Boyda is running in a mixed district, ideology-wize, but includes Topeka, Manhattan, and the Kansas K.C. suburbs, including Leavenworth. It is sufficiently strong in the Democrat column to turn the tide this time, with some help from moderates.

There's going to be fireworks tomorrow. Nancy Boyda is going to set some of her own tomorrow night.
