6. Let me see... Maybe Rummy's right...
What actually is going on in Iraq? Hmm...

1. Mission Accomplished was declared way prematurely for purposes a photo opportunity.
2. There was no real plan for countering the insurgency.
3. Our reasons for entry into Iraq were blatant bold-faced lies.
4. Our leadership grotesquely overestimated the welcome they would receive.
5. Our troops are being denied the equipment they need to survive in a war zone.
6. There is a "sectarian conflict" (some people call this a civil war) between the Kurds, Shiites, and Sunnis.
7. There is no real plan for exiting the country. We don't even have a to-do list.
8. American soldiers are being killed for a battle that never seems to progress.

In short, the former Secretary of Defense is a Cold Warrior trying to repeat the mistakes of Vietnam for a new generation of impressionable youth.

Clearly, I comprehend nothing.
