8. Voted for Obama but regret not voting for Hillary because I am fed up with all the personal attacks
on her and misogyny in the media. And I have had about enough of Huffington Post to last the rest of my life. Barak is electrifying and irresistible as hell, but Hillary is a proven workhorse who can fight like a mama lion and maintain her dignity and her message in the face of the most cutting, soul-destroying assaults. I have some disagreements with her on certain votes in the Senate, but Barak's record isn't a 100% perfect match for me either. I have complete confidence in Hillary's talents, her determination, her intellect, and her ability to put together an administration that even Bill himself will envy. So I hate like hell how she is expected to live up to an impossible double standard simply because of her gender. I know if any of one of us Democratic women -- yes, I mean YOU and ME -- were running for POTUS, we would be subjected to the same endless bull crap in a way that no man of any shade would be. I am fed up with all of it.

So yes I voted for Barak because he's a thrill a minute and even I was buying into the negative hype about Hillary Clinton. But if I could vote over again, I'd probably vote for her, and proudly.

Oh, and I am a black woman, so there!
