17. Although....
your observation concerning the "outside" world is completely, and helplessly flawed, you should understand that the kind of hatred Obama fans have for Clinton is special. It is the kind of hatred republicans reserve for Democrats, and anything liberal, or more apt, like a drug, that once started, cannot be weened off of easily. You cannot remove the wind beneath the wings of support for Obama without going down in flames, hence the continuing hate-fest.

"It seems the rest of the world has moved on and forgotten Hillary yet here on DU every other post is about her? What gives?"

I thought Obama fans were convinced the nomination is in the bag, but as you have pointed out, it is obvious there is still concern as to his inevitabililty. Or is it simply the sheer joy they recieve from demonizing another Democrat, along with any who support her. My concern is, that from one side of an Obama fan's mouth comes: "Hillary supporters should unite with us, and vote for Obama, and not betray the party by voting for McCain". But from the other side of thier collective mouths comes: "Hillary the "fucking whore", and her delusional supporters are destroying the party with their corporate loving racism". Would any self-respecting person let someone shit in their living room, then give them a cookie for doing so? Maybe there's a method to the madness, but I have yet to figure out exactly what it is, or perhaps O fans believe that they can win with only half the democratic vote, along with the "millions" of republicans who have suddenly decided to cast off their own special brand of racism, and hatred of anything liberal. I just don't see the numbers adding up. Thanks.
