who gummed up all the airtime and sabotaged the 2000, 2002 and 2004 elections from WITHIN their exalted positions in the party by ignoring basic party infrastructure. After 2004 when they all got behind Hillary2008, it actually freed up the remaining Dem stalwarts who have always been in it for the party and country first and enthusiastically served the past Dem nominees and Dem voters and never acted as placeholders for Hillary as the celebrity Dems did.

Plus....
Dean's stewardship of the DNC has given life to long collapsed infrastructures = many of us believe those state party infrastructures were collapsed deliberately in the 90s while all party focus was set up to protect the interest of the Clintons with no concern for other Dem lawmakers or the much ignored states.
