...for as long as possible. They are probably waiting for Kerry to make the first move before they counterattack, and I imagine he knows they are. That's another reason he has to stay in the background for as long as possible. I imagine he's waiting for exactly the right moment to make his move, and he knows he'd better have his act together when he does. All the waiting and speculating is frustrating for me too, but I definitely would NOT want to be in John Kerry's shoes right now! He knows he won't get another chance, so he'd better get it right the first time.
