154. Realism is what we need to survive! Nixon was ushered away for screwing up
Edited on Thu Dec-23-04 01:19 PM by JohnOneillsMemory
so badly handling the public's outrage over the CIA's second 'Bay of Pigs' disaster called 'The Vietnam War' and not being able to provide the PR front for fascism required to maintain it in the naive American public's mind. The wolves in the White House today learned from Nixon's mistakes domestically but not internationally.

If public opinion turns against the Bush*-fronted neocons so badly that they can't get troops with that 'Freedom is on the March' crap, the power structure's media-carnies WILL let a new clown into the center ring to keep'em comin' into the tent under a big sign that says
'UNDER NEW MANAGEMENT-NEW! IMPROVED! 50% LESS TORTURE!.'

Kerry may yet get anointed the new clown-king. And then we can only hope he's willing to change the show to include less destruction of the planet.

I think it was Austin Powers who said 'carnie-folk scare me.' Me, too.
