Even when they played Bama for the National Title in 77? Football. Anyway, a Field of Dreams moment. I moved to Iowa. He would visit to go to a Hawkeye game, yearly. One year, 2005, I started giving him shit on how overrated the Irish were and how they were pussies not to join the Big Ten. A fistfight almost ensued(my wife broke it up) and he left the next day without us speaking. He died a year later. I never got to take it back. I still fucking hate Notre Dame. Fuck em.
