5. Exercise caution?
I guess that would be my only advice on the subject...

Sorry to be a downer, but I have been in a couple of different "groups" over the years and each time it ended up being WAY more painful than anything I've ever done as a solo practitioner.

One group ended up being WAAAAAY out there and doing high ritual stuff that used various body fluids and threats. The "dress code" by itself should have tipped me off, but I was young and dumb back then, I guess.

The other coven ended up with a High Priestess that was an absolute basket case who was so needy and clingy it was like working in a circle with Saran Wrap. (Did I mention that she had an obnoxious little dog that would try and copulate with my leg while we were in Circle? THAT was a nice bonus, too.)

I've been solo for a long time. I doubt I'll EVER be able to change that with any comfort given my past experiences. I work with my kitchen supplies, candles, and herbs and that seems to suit me just fine.

Best of luck. I hope you find what you seek.

Laura
