2. I didn't think Kerry/Edwards could be beat.
However, I was really hoping that Kerry would select Clark as his running mate. I don't know why he didn't do that.

Something does come to mind though... I think that back in 2000 a lot of people who were leaning towards Bush ended up being decidedly in his camp after Bush started dropping hints about giving Colin Powell a cabinet position. I think that even if Wes Clark doesn't end up on a future ticket, we should make it obvious that he will have a position in the administration. With all that in mind, I really hope to see a lot more of him on TV and radio, and wherever he might be needed. If he could run for a position in Arkansas that would really be great.

Furthermore, I definately think Kerry should run again so he can put what he learned in this campaign to good use. He almost won this time, and next time all the Repub. attacks will just seem stale. I also think that "If I'd been President none of this (insert bad stuff here) would have happened" would make a great in-your-face campaign line.
