regarding investments. So does my mutual fund. It is possible to do things ethically. Not easy, but possible. And incumbent upon any org that calls itself "a church".

They own Halliburton stock outright. Someone gave it to them and when I suggested getting rid of it, they pointed out how profitable it is. A company that supplies materiel for the wars it helps to start is likely to be profitable. Not ethical, but profitable.

And they can argue they're doing it all for their stockholders. Including my employer.
