Simply using "gay" as a smear without any proof is offensive, because you're essentially saying that being gay is a bad thing. Also, "gay sticks with gay" is a gross generalization.

Really, reading the replies to your deleted message with an "open mind" should pretty much explain everything.

Edited to add: I actually didn't alert on your post, because I believe a person's bigotry should be on display.
