She blamed her not getting the calls on some conspiracy against her that made her phone not work right. She told Randi Rhodes that she never called her, and Randi refuted that. She said she watched her caller ID and never saw any calls from Randi or Keith Olbermann or CNN.

It's always an excuse with her.

Blame Andy. Blame Randi. Blame Agent Mike. Blame some weird government conspiracy.

But don't blame Bev.

Don't look at her track record and see she hasn't accomplished nearly any of what she said she was going to do.

Don't look at her bank account where she collected nearly a million dollars in cash donations from DUers, Air America listeners and others.

Don't ask her about the 3000 FOIA requests where to this day she has only posted any information on 3 or 4 of them.

Don't ask why Bev Harris sat on the video of much of this until tonight when this documentary was shown - when she refused to air any of this on shows like Countdown.

There is no excuse for any of the mean-spiritedness and con games Bev Harris has played with all of us. It's a real sore subject around here, and is frankly quite humiliating. She is NOT welcome on the DU, having been tombstoned not ONCE, but TWICE (and I think she's been tombstoned more than that if you count her sock puppets).

She's been given more than a fair chance around here. She has no credibility. Ugh.
