60. Donna Brazille ran a shitty campaign in 2000!!!
It wasn't that long ago that we can forget. Everyone was all atwitter about Clinon/Lewinsky, and they hammered Al to distance himself from Big Dawg--HUGE mistake!!!! So LIE-berman was chosen because he condemned Clinton on the Senate floor.

I knew immediately he was a bad choice, when he started with that "Freedom OF religion, not freedom FROM religion" bullshit. I'm Jewish, so I recognise my fanatics of my own ethnicity, and I was scared about the knee-jerk protection of Israel. It wasn't until the dust fell after SCOTUS subverted my democracy, and I saw how sneaky Joe was in keeping his senate seat that I realised exactly what a low-down slime he was.

But remember, there's lots of water under the bridge now. Al Gore is not the same as he was 7 years ago, he's ditched the DLC and come out as the great eviornmentalist and progressive he is. I'd vote for him now in a heartbeat!
