12. I knew it!
With all due respect to your opinion, you are writing about a person who SEEKS PUBLICITY as part of his (lucrative) livelihood. Have you never seen an advertisement for Tucker Carlson's show?

Do you realize that if the public cease to be at least mildly curious about Tucker or his show, then Tucker makes a lot less money, and maybe even loses his job?

Do you realize that if either of the above things happen, Tucker will be not be able to "put food on his family"--or at least, won't be able to put quite as good food on his family? I mean, one of his four kids may have to forego Princeton!

Tucker Carlson was NOT unwittingly hauled into the spotlight of fame. He actively SEEKS it. Please google "Sullivan vs. New York Times".

Furthermore, did you notice that in the blog entry, the guy did NOT reveal what Tucker rented? And that the guy pointedly spoke out against even the notion of revealing Tucker's secret compound (also known as Tucker's residence)?

Do you remember the old response that movie stars used to make to reporters who asked them what it was like to be mobbed by fans and to have their every action described in detail in the paper? The standard reply was, "Well, I'll only be upset when people STOP wanting to know about me."

Does the blog entry, which you can read in my initial post, warrant Carlson's going back to the store and telling the guy, "Stop this shit or I'll fucking destroy you"? Isn't that a physical threat (albeit conditional)?

Sorry, but I for one am tired of watching our fellow members of the peasant class being batted around by self-proclaimed "elites" like these Bush-enabling media "personalities". And you can comfort yourself with the fact that even the publicity which is generated by our discussing this here will be good for little Tucker's show, and therefore good for his big bank account.
