4. I am so tired of the argument of false equivalency . . .
To suggest that Rachael Maddow is "extreme" -- some sort of mirror image of Limbaugh -- is just plain dishonest. Unless these talking heads really are that stupid and lazy and unable to make distinctions. By any standard (subjective or objective) Keith Olbermann isn't a tenth as crazy as Glenn Beck, and no one on the left comes within a light year of the meanness of Michael Savage.

Is everybody on the left as modulated and earnest as Maddow? Of course not. But to pretend that there's any real balance of extremism out there is absolute piffle.
