6. I asked a fundie a question of similar dynamic
During impending catastrophes ( plane crashes, natural disasters etc ) people pray and yet die or suffer harm anyway. To what do we attribute God's indifference? I cautioned not to use the hackneyed "God works in mysterious ways" BS and prodded very aggressively. He just played the faux sympathy card said he feels sorry for me.

Seriously though: If the fundie's God knows of suffering and does nothing, wouldn't that make him less than virtuous? And if he does know and yet can't prevent harm, wouldn't that demonstrate he's not all-powerful?
