Times they are a changing,the time when we the US could do whatever we want,like order people in other countries around and tell them what we want,and what we like,without regards to their own interest and concerns,is just about over.
The dynamics have changed radically,and just because one has the biggest guns,does not mean that others are going to cower and cave in to our demands and wishes anymore.
The hand writing is on the wall,we will have to change the way we treat and interact with others,or else we are creating nothing but more trouble and problems for ourselves.
If we still want to be all over the globe playing world police,then we better change,it is not the other way around.
Also don't forget we helped arm and support Osama Bin Laden the Taliban,and other nefarious terrorist to help drive Russia out of Afghanistan,they could also do the same thing to us,because sometimes what goes around,comes around
