12. It's about time they did something. They have an approval rating worse than Bush's!
And I've begun to think their elections were about as legitimate. Same "trade secret" code vote counting, owned and controlled by rightwing Bushite corporations. Same lack of audits/recounts. A few improvements here and there, and backsliding. Why are they protecting the profits of Bushite corps who are using "trade secret" code to 'count' all our votes and who claimed, in FL-13, that their "right" to profit from our elections trumps the right of the voters to know how their votes were counted? Why would anybody defend these corporate fuckwads and want to give them billions MORE of our tax dollars to "fix" the horrors in our election system that they deliberately created and lavishly lobbied for?

It's a puzzle. And, just in time--before a few other people begin to wonder, too--our supposed Democratic Congress starts acting like they were elected by the people.

I'm glad, you know, that the House voted against war funding. Don't get me wrong. It's a hopeful sign of the times. I just feel so...had.
