i.e. I think religion is mostly bad for humanity, and I think it should be open for public criticism, like any other topic.

But I don't think one's religiosity or lack thereof has any bearing on one's American-ness. The only thing that matters is the Constitution. If you support the Constitution, you're an American, period. And people have the right to believe whatever the fuck they want, as long as they don't try to harm others.

This scapegoating of my fellow - Muslim - Americans sickens me. Palin's the anti-American one.
