All of this sounds just great, and hey don't get me wrong, I agree with you BUT we do have to live in the real world. It is all fine and well to rant and rave on the Internet, but what are you doing that is constructive? We all know that people with ideals never do anything, and that people who do things have no ideals.

I am on your side, so stop your whining and stop trying to accuse me of being opposed to you, just because I am opposed to you. I used to have all of these ideals, too, and then I grew up, faced reality, and stopped living in fantasy land.

It is great that you want all treated equally under the law. But the reality is that there are powerful people in this country who want to deny equal protection and equal rights to some of us, and they are Americans too and deserve a seat at the table if we want to get anything done. Aren't their opinions as good as anyone else's? We need to hear all voices, and it seems you want to shut some people out just because they want to destroy the earth, oppress the people, and deny justice. We need to welcome their ideas and concepts. Compromise is a reality, and reality is compromised, and a compromised reality is a real compromise. It is what we have to do if we want to get anywhere. we compromise because we can - because it doesn't cost us anything and who cares about the losers who suffer as a result? Tome they take personal responsibility.

We need to rule from the center and represent all Americans. The wealthy and powerful 1% gets 90% of the power, and the other 90% of the people get a 10% share of power, if that. That is compromise. Hey, at least it is better than the Republicans, where the 1% gets all of the power!

I know how you lunatic leftists are. Today you complain about torture, but before you know it we will hear you whining about people losing their jobs. Nothing will ever make you happy, it seems. Whine, whine, whine, doom and gloom, tin foil.
