3. When I was in 8th grade,...
...a fellow 8th grader died suddenly. I didn't know him well (this was a catholic school in the Philly suburbs in 1970. There were 4 8th grades of about 48 kids each. He was in another room), but when the nun announced his death, I couldn't stop giggling. The nun, who was the best teacher I EVER had, saw the look of horror on my face as I was covering my mouth. She said nothing because I think she realized that I COULDN"T STOP MYSELF!

Most of those people were probably assholes, but a few may have had the same reaction that I did.
