The problem is the uncertainty that hangs over my head due to the possibility of having a renewal refused by DHS just like that . Hopefully this year is the magic one , the year I finally get my permanent status.

My company applied for the green card, and is more than willing to help , the problem is the bureaucracy of the US immigration system.

The legal road is really hard and long winded . I have been going at it for 7 years. 5 years as a student .

No wonder many choose the illegal route.
