The two perpetual wars America is conducting in the 21st Century are ironic. They were founded in the name of FIGHTING TERRORISM. Then we walked away from Afghanistan early on when we had a real chance of getting Osama B.L., to enter the distraction of Iraq. We have nuked our reputation as a defender of human rights – by torture and deliberate killing of innocents, our best and brightest have sacrificed for apparently nothing, we are conducting the longest war in American history for nothing, and, in the end, we turned Iraq and Afghanistan into ANTI AMERICAN TERRORIST FACTORIES! All those trillions of dollars (or is it merely a little more than one trillion, an amount the Pentagon has been proven to have lost just by sloppy accounting?) so we grow a new generation of people that hate America and can hold a grudge for THOUSANDS OF YEARS!

Here's a bit from the late comedian Bill Hicks that explains one possibility for Obama's servitude to the corporations at the expense of we the people:

“I have this feeling man, ’cause you know, it’s just a handful of people who run everything, you know … that’s true, it’s provable. It’s not … I’m not a f**king conspiracy nut, it’s provable. A handful, a very small elite, run and own these corporations, which include the mainstream media. I have this feeling that whoever is elected president, like Clinton was, no matter what you promise on the campaign trail – blah, blah, blah – when you win, you go into this smoke-filled room with the twelve industrialist capitalist scum-f**ks who got you in there. And you’re in this smoky room, and this little film screen comes down … and a big guy with a cigar goes, “Roll the film.” And it’s a shot of the Kennedy assassination from an angle you’ve never seen before … that looks suspiciously like it’s from the grassy knoll. And then the screen goes up and the lights come up, and they go to the new president, “Any questions?” “Er, just what my agenda is.” “First we bomb Baghdad.” “You got it…”

Lastly, I can never get a good answer on the fundamental question: ARE WE AT LEAST EXTRACTING THE OIL IN IRAQ, which so many think is the real reason for the whole fiasco in the first place? I suspect, knowing the Bush/Cheney crime-against-humanity caliber of incompetence, we didn’t even end up with the FUCKING OIL!

Oh, I think GWB finally did get his wet dream of procuring one of Saddam’s pearl handled revolvers to display on his desk. War widows and mothers, this is what your loved ones gave their lives for. Maybe GWB will let you pet it some day down at his library of the illiterates.
