161. Spoken like one who isn't in the field of education
Let me explain a few things to you, since you apparently either don't know the circumstances, or simply don't care.

I am a teacher, yet I can't find a job in teaching because Obama has pulled the stimulus funds for education after only a year. This means that school districts across the country are firing teachers and cutting education programs due to lack of funding.

Even if I do manage to find a teaching job, I will be forced by federal mandate to engage in more standardized testing, though the vast majority of education experts agree that such standardized testing does a horrible disservice to children, resulting in even poorer results. We've already lost one generation due to the Bush era, NCLB testing, and we are looking at losing another generation due to Obama era testing.

Furthermore, the Obama administration has set in motion, via the cynical Race To The Top program, the destruction of public education. RTTT forces every state who takes such funds to open up their state to unlimited private and charter schools. It also opens the floodgates of standardized teaching, and worse, merit based pay that is based on those tests.

That is in the one area of education. This assault is also being carried out in other areas, like civil liberties, and oh, let's not forget those illegal, immoral wars that are draining this country of money, lives and resources.

If you don't think that we're under assault by this administration, then you simply haven't been paying attention.
