15. Wndy, you touch my heart..
I started two or three ops yesterday and then just could not finish them, I just did not have the words or the energy to be honest with you.

The whole birther scenario and the time line.. people who now question well why did he do it now..why did he cave yadda yadda yadda.. just do not get it on any level.

The fact that the President had to put his birth certificate on line in the first place got under my skin.. the one and only official birth certificate recognized by the state of Hawaii. But they demand more, nothing is enough

He did it with grace and kept on going. But the refusal to accept this President.. that he must continually prove himself.. and Corsi was gearing up with another swift boating type book.. and they can turn things around like nothing else.. People basically spit on Kerry and his service and his purple hearts.. It was a dismal site and it was gearing up again.

But the birther issue was to the very core of the Presidents existence. And it was just not the President, it is his children, his family..Michelle, her family.. all my friends here in DU and in real life..my son who is a different race than I am.. all were being attacked at the core .. made less than by this constant demand for papers to prove you are a "real" citizen.. a "real" student deserving of the honors he earned etc.

And I am sick and tired of the excuses .. it is what it is.. and the President did the right thing. He should not have had to..but he was right to do it now.

Thank you
