whole, it actually raises the rate in reality by eliminating all the loopholes that allow companies like exxon and GE to find ways to pay the 0% they currently pay now.

so while small companies that don't have GE's luxury of loopholing their tax rate to zero see a decrease, the big players who manage to pay little or nothing actually see a significant increase.

combining the two places the republicans in a position where they'd have to vote against "lowering taxes"

i think it'd be great if this can be pulled off.
