except to say that I do not want to hear any more Obama bashing on DU. I'm sure I will, but I am simply not going to deal with it any longer.

President Obama needs all of our support. This is a crisis situation, and if we cannot support him in this crisis, we fail miserably.

So, for those who continue to post nothing but negative statements regarding the President, all you will accomplish will be to earn my contempt and the contempt of all who want to find a solution for the situation and avoid our default on our obligations. I'm not going to argue with you. I'm not even going to acknowledge that you have posted yet more attacks on the Democratic President of The United States.

Some may find that to be a good thing. It is not. Until this debt limit issue is solved, we have a serious need to support President Obama. Once it is solved, there will be ample time to attack him on other grounds if that's your bent. But not now. Not at this moment.

I call for solidarity in support of the man we elected to be President. If we cannot muster that, then we fail.

That is all.
