It's not as prevalent as it used to be, but it's still there. Women are supposed to be married before age 25 and start having kids IMMEDIATELY. I'm amazed by how often I see that where I work - a couple of people got married, and wives were pregnant within a couple of months. It's a mystery to me why anyone would want to tie themselves down with kids while they are young and have the ambition to go do fun things - wait until you're a little older and more mature with a more stable job first.
