I know that might not happen for us. I gave her a couple of my old tampons that I keep in my purse for back up so she could see what they look like. (I'm at an age where I've noticed that, when I do have a period, the sponges don't always "catch" everything and I need something else, especially when away from home.) Anyway, she has completely taken them apart and checked them over, trying to figure them out. I also recently purchased one from a vending machine so she could see what an applicator looks like. (I use OB when I use a tampon so no applicators.)

I hope it's out of season but that's not the kind of luck we have.
