I'm not saying a Democratic candidate should use the socialist word or go on an electoral kamikaze mission.

But Bernies longstanding success -- and political dominance -- in Vermont shows that his message does resonate with working class people as well as progressives.....There are also plenty of those in Vermont.

Bernies brand of progressive populism would be an effective weapon if the Democratic political class would take their lips off the corporate teat long enough to see the real reality.
