MUSE - "Hysteria" - KIDS Collaboration Cover

Picking my jaw up from the floor!

I posted the cover of The Ocean a few weeks ago by a couple of these kids. Ellen and Yoyoka were great.
This is worth it just for the bass intro. The vocalist is really good.

Bass: Ellen Alaverdyan - age 11 from Las Vegas
Drums: Yoyoka Soma - age 14 from Japan
Guitar: Bay Melnick Virgolino (aka The Only Bay) - age 9 from NYC
Guitar & Backing Vocals: Charlotte Milstein - age 14 from San Diego
Backing Vocals: Ella Milstein - age 16 from San Diego

BLOODROCK reunion (D.O.A.)

I showed this to my wife a while ago and she said, "That looks like Uncle Stevie!"
I said, "It is."
Turns out she knew these guys back in the day. Her older sister dated Stevie Hill for a while and my wife was known by the band as the "little sister". Her sister ended up marrying Stevie's brother and had a daughter with him. My wife spent a lot of time with her sister and her neice and naturally Stevie was known as Uncle Stevie.
She also knew the Hill family pretty well.

I never met Stevie who passed in 2013 but I met his brother and know the neice well.

The reunion concert was in 2005; the band still sounded great and Jim Rutledge's voice sounded as good as it did in '71.

More Steve Winwood!

This is fun to watch - excellent Led Zeppelin cover

The bassist is around 9 and the drummer is about 12 in this video and is apparently fairly well-known.
This comes from Ellen's channel (the bassist). The drummer, Yoyoka, has been on the Ellen Degeneris show and her fans include Robert Plant and Dave Grohl.

Great video. (I think Ellen's dad is playing rhythm guitar off stage and maybe backup vocals).

James McMurtry - No More Buffalo

I'm always looking for any concerts near where we live in east Texas. Turns out James McMurtry is playing in Tyler next week, small venue - 300 seats. Tickets were cheap - $20-25! Unbelievable.
We're going.

Also going to see Neil Young and Crazy Horse in Dallas the week after! But that one costs $450 for two with service fees and taxes, plus another $45 for parking. Neither my wife nor I have ever seen Neil before so we couldn't pass it up.

Never heard of Elise LeGrow but I'm glad Youtube's algorithm introduced her.
