Now is the time for all good men and women to plant a flag and be upstanders, not bystanders.

What I mean is that starting with the most important example of being an upstander is to not grace the inauguration with your presence.

Obama, Clintons, Bidens, Bushes….stay home! Stay away. You will only look like fools sitting through his incoherent and incessant rambling lies.

I emotionally ate 10 moose farts and 2 chocolate chip cookies. It's going to be a very long

4 years.

Moose farts are little confections made with chopped dates, nuts, sweetened condensed milk and coconut.

I now have a stomach ache because I chased the Moose farts with a full fat cappuccino.

Get ready Ohio

“Dr. Amy Acton launches Democratic campaign for Ohio governor in 2026”

Snip Cleveland.com

COLUMBUS, Ohio—Dr. Amy Acton, who became a statewide celebrity of sorts as state health director during the early days of the coronavirus crisis, filed paperwork Tuesday to run for Ohio governor in 2026.

Acton, who has been hinting at such a run since last summer, is the first Democrat to launch a 2026 gubernatorial campaign. Few expect her to be the only candidate from her party to run, though their party’s eventual nominee will likely be an underdog in a state where Republicans have won the last four races for governor.

It's the money stupid. It's social media stupid.

Paraphrasing the words of James Carville.
One billion was spent in Ohio on Sherrod Brown’s senate race. One Billion. One tv ad over and over every sports broadcast every channel where ads could be placed. So Brown’s message about fighting for Ohio and all of the work he had done on behalf of workers and union and getting business to Ohio could not overcome the smothering constant lying ads by Bernie Marino.
Add in the republican bots flooding social media and whoa la! Election bought.
The grainy black and white ads portraying Ksmala Harris as unfit were run 24/7 everywhere there was a tv station.
I am not in the “Democrats have a wrong message” camp.

Keith Olbermann Powerful 20 minutes re Hunter pardon

Listen and argue why you differ or not. I’ve sent this to my network citing its required listening.

Special Edition (1:44) SPECIAL COMMENT: Some time over Thanksgiving in Nantucket the light bulb went off over Joe Biden’s head and he finally realized that no, the norms and traditions and institutions to which he and most of the rest of us have dedicated our lives did NOT miraculously re-grow, did NOT suddenly spring, fully restored and intact, from the ground.
He saw that not only was his son about to go to prison because of his own foolish decision to not interfere with an enfeebled Department of Justice, and because of the dictator it let get away, who would now aim his DOJ at Hunter Biden - and Joe Biden - and anybody else - for personal revenge. -snip/ much more

Scarborough & company attempting a marketing

end around by extending a fig leaf to the nazi in chief in Mar a lard go.
For those who don’t know, Joe and Mika visited him in Fla this weekend.
Maybe MSNBC corporate thinks the R’s will rush to Morning Joe because of the novelty of such a bow at his feet move.
The thing is, he will cut them off if they dare cover him truthfully or objectively,
Do what do they gain?

There are no set expiration dates for those who mourn. I mourn the state of our country and the loss

Of Kamala Harris, Sherrod Brown and more.
A psychologist I once worked for would say, “pick your duration of mourning and then find a way to move on.”
For example state to yourself I will mourn 2 minutes,( 2 days, 2 weeks, 2 months, 2 years. Any number.) And then I will move on.
For myself, I decided 1 month. By Dec 5 I will move on because I gave myself permission.

Holding on to anger or sadness can become chronic.

Until and when there is a major cable network devoted to the message of the Democratic Party,

in the exact spirit of Fox, we will struggle mightily to get our message out to low information voters. Maybe never agin if we don’t ratchet up messaging.

We need a network, podcasts and social media giants. We need to reach voters where they are and daily inform them in the language of a 6th grader, about what’s what.
Daily. Every day. 24/7

We mainly lost because of messaging. Read the responses to the question AOC posed to voters, and you will find the answer.

Calling billionaires! SOS we need a network. MSNBC will never ever be the answer.
