The land of the Free and the Home of the Brave?????

Years ago, in a workplace I saw a poster with an eagle and a flag that said, "The Land of the Free and the Home of the Brave".

I thought, "If we're so fucking Free, why did we enact the USA Patriot Act? If we're so fucking brave, why do we have to take our shoes off to board an airplane?"

Twenty years later and I am still waiting for an answer.

Looking at his cognitive state, these days has me wondering whether he lied when he said that his "personal Vietnam" was avoiding STDs in the '60s. Maybe he didn't avoid them after all and we are witnessing his decline as a result of tertiary syphilis.

Festivus season is approaching

For those who don't understand, Festivus is a holiday invented on the sitcom, Seinfeld, by George Costanza's father in response to the excess of Christmas marketing. There are three elements to Festivus, the Festivus pole, a simple unadorned aluminum pole, feats of strength, and the airing of grievances.
I bring this up because I recently realized that the slobfather has been celebrating Festivus nonstop since Barak Obama made him the butt of a joke at the Correspondents' Dinner. Ever since, his life has been an unending airing of grievances.

Does anyone else wonder?

I wonder if the reason why Holy Mike refuses to release the Epstein files is because his name is in there?
