If Democrats would just tell the fucking truth about the Keystone Oil Exporter..
educate the American people that the sole purpose of the oil EXPORTER pipeline is just that.
It will put North American oil on the global market which will cause oil, gas, diesel, nat gas prices here in America to skyrocket.
In 5 years, take a guess at the price of a gallon of gas here in the US. My guess: $10 a gallon.
Keystone Exporter is a price manipulation/fixing tool that will cause energy prices to soar. If the American people understand this they just might line up to oppose it. Plus the fact that it is an environmental disaster in the making..
Soaring energy is a national job killer.
The Oil Exporter will kill jobs and harm our economy.
Drop the name Keystone and rename it..
The Oil Exporter.
In 20 years, we'll speak of the Democratic Party in past tense..
and we'll say
it was because they free traded. And by doing so, they declared war on and killed America's middle class.
Labor activists hung and were body slammed on the pavement by KKK and Henry Ford's Black Legionaires(a radical wing of the KKK)to bring people a better life, better wages, a 40 hour workweek etc..
Labor activists didn't hang so that future Dems would free trade and kill the middle class and wages.
Progress is dead within the Democratic Party.
From the ashes of 2014, a new party of workers, must arise.
Following Pelosi's lead, Boehner pulls impeachment off the table.
Democrats once again prove their elite leadership ability by setting the example followed by Boehner and Republicans.
And to thank Pelosi for not indicting Bush, Boehner has made every Republican agree to no longer speak the word: Benghazi.
Lead by example is how Democrats roll.
Could a deflated Tealiban be setting the stage for unprecedented..
apathy and/or waning of voter support for Repub candidates?
In other words,
Will Repubs face a new problem in 2014 and beyond, voter apathy from the Tealiban portion of their base?
Just my own opinion here..
I think Repubs will face apathy from their own base, to what extent, hard to say. Some of the Tea party's support in 2010 came from swing voters who may not vote for them or just may not turn out at all.
Dems could have a real opportunity here. A crack in the Repub armor..

In a congressional election cycle(non-pres) such as 2014, it is rare for the presidents party to win and common for the opposition party to make senate and house gains, but something just feels different about this year.
There is no Rethug enthusiasm. None.
Think there won't be apathy on their side? Again, it's hard to predict to what extent..
The problem for Dems is the apathy created by Obama promoting more Free Trade and job outsourcing by promoting TPP.
Apathy-makers that hurt Democrats..
Free Trade.
Wall St runs the party.
Lack of indictment of war-crimes for Bush and the above-the-law attitude of DC elites.
The police state.
Drones.
NSA.
'Defense' still ranks as the #1 most expensive sector of govt spending, when we need people investments instead of investing in killing people.
All of the above make voters lose trust in both parties.

I don't promote apathy, instead I try to speak out to prevent it.
Bad policy is the apathy-maker. Not me.
The big tent only has enough room for about 1% of the wealthiest Dems.
I will never turn to politics or democracy to ever solve a problem, ever again.
I will never be dumb enough to be made to believe. I will never look to a political figure with aspirations of hope, ever again.
Tax superpac and excessive political donations.
A dollar-for-dollar(100%) FEDERAL tax on all superpac donations.
Overturning the Citizens United USSC decision should be the ultimate goal. But until that happens, could a tax on political superpac donations at least somewhat limit the damage that right-wing billionaires like the Kochs bros and Adelsons are doing to our democracy?
Of course, it would take a dem congress to make this happen..
We need to employ every strategy that we can muster to fight the greatest threat to democracy, the 1% that are buying it or that already own it.
I would climb Mount Everest to vote for a $15 an hour minimum wage.
Good policy should really be the only GOTV drive that we need, although I'm still all for GOTV drives. Be pro-middle class and people will vote for you,
ENTHUSIASTICALLY.
Pro-wage is pro-people. It's the kind of good policy that would get people excited to go vote.
Bonus: A $15 an hour wage could help rescue the ailing masses that once made up America's middle class, our tax base would thus explode and it could lead to balanced budgets. A win-win-win-win...
When voters get excited, even a little bit, they will show up and vote. Enthusiastically.

If Obama carried out the Iraq war in the exact same fashion as Bush..
If Obama lied to the world in the run-up to the Iraq War Resolution, which gave Bush congressional authorization to order the invasion, he'd likely have been impeached by now.
If Obama fabricated so-called evidence the way that Bush fabricated evidence, he'd be impeached by now.
Fabrication of evidence to sway legislative authorization of war is an international war crime, under articles of the Geneva convention.
If Obama lied that we had evidence of or will find evidence after our invasion that Saddam and Bin Laden were linked in the 9-11 attacks and that Saddam was helping Bin Laden carry out terror, if Obama lied like Bush, he'd be impeached by now.
Lying to persuade legislative authorization to invade is an international war crime.
If Obama lied to the world and to congress that Saddam had WMD and that he was manufacturing WMD's the way that Bush lied, Obama would have been impeached by now.
And,
Obama likely would've been tried as a war criminal or pending a trial.

It's why I say,
If Democrats don't grow a spine and indict Bush, in part as an answer to Rethugs Benghazi witch hunt, then said Democrats aren't worthy of having that D next to their name.
Indict or resign.

This op is in no way a swipe at Obama. Instead, it's intended to show the hypocrisy behind the Rethug witch hunt of Obama and Hillary regarding Benghazi(a non-story), and the Rethug silence when they should be indicting a real war criminal for real war crimes, W Bush and his cabal of murderers, Cheney etc.
